In this course, you’ll:
Learn basic cis female and cis male bit anatomy and how things work down there so that you’re confident to evaluate and treat pelvic health issues with your patients
Recognize common cisgendered pelvic health issues that make things go south - literally - so that you can maximize your patients’ health outcomes and recovery
Apply treatment techniques for common pelvic health issues so that you can be ready to use new skills day one back at the clinic
Know when to refer out to a qualified pelvic health practitioner when you’re in doubt
Feel comfortable asking questions about sexual health so that you can provide comprehensive care without embarrassment or discomfort
Receive an introduction to pain science and treatment application so that you can provide the best recovery plan for your patients
Perform a non-internal pelvic health assessment (getting results doesn’t always require internal work)
Apply treatment and behavioral strategies for incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, pelvic pain, constipation
Understand the connection between the diaphragm and breathing mechanics on pelvic function
Practice external pelvic treatment techniques for assessing and treating pelvic related issues
This course is open to all healthcare professionals - licensed physical therapists, physical therapy students, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, medical doctors, nurses and midwives.

Refund requests will be honored up to 30 days before the start of the course. A $75 administrative fee will apply.
In most cases, course credit is fully transferable up to 7 days prior to the start of the course. A $75 transfer fee will apply.
If the course is cancelled or does not reach a minimum number of students, you will be notified via email and/or phone, and a full refund will be issued.
+ Will I get continuing education credits?
Continuing education (CE) credit applications will be submitted for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants in the state that the course is hosted. If you're travelling out of state, please check with your state on reciprocity for CEUs.
In order to receive full credit, attendance for the entire course is mandatory so please schedule your travel plans accordingly. I know travel can be tricky, so if you have to leave a little early on the last day of class, please let me know ahead of time. Adjustments to CEUs might have to be made and will be evaluated on an individual basis.
