Join Occupational Therapist and Certified Pelvic Health Specialist, Lainie Givens, as she explains the power that context, thoughts, beliefs, and verbal persuasion have on our pain experiences. She highlights an interesting experiment by researchers Arnoud Arntz and Lily Claassens from 2004 in the Journal of Pain that demonstrates how what we are told about our pain experience actually influences our physical experience of pain.
