WHAT IS NORMAL PENIS SIZE

Most men want to know the average penis size to know how they measure up to the rest of the guys, especially after watching porn. But what is an average or ideal penis?

Ever read that the average penis size is 5” when erect and 3.5” when flaccid? This popular 1996 study done at the University of California in San Francisco has limits and this “average” penis size shouldn’t be taken as fact because:

  • Only 80 penises were included in the 1996 study (there are 3.97 billion men in the world today)

  • There is no standardized approach to measuring a penis and each study has a different research protocol, meaning each study could get vastly different results

  • The location of the study determined which penises showed up, and is not reflective of our world’s diversity

The ideal penis size is one that brings you pleasure and joy, and a bigger penis does not equal bigger orgasms. In fact, the size of your penis does not affect arousal and orgasm for yourself or your partner. And while men often think that women desire a longer or bigger penis, most don’t.

Don’t let the internet “dick-tate” how you feel about your body image: experience pleasure knowing your penis size has absolutely nothing to do with how good your orgasms feel.
