"I have suffered with chronic pelvic pain for many years, without recognizing it for what it is. Neither did my physicians. I received multiple diagnoses along the way, including chronic prostatitis, and ultimately “levator ani syndrome”. As a physician myself, the first thing I did after receiving the latter diagnosis was to dive into the internet to find out information that I could apply. Most of the information was academic and completely non-practical.
